About The Reasons:

The Reasons perform timeless rock ‘n’ roll hits spanning from the 1950s to the 1980s, creating a groovy atmosphere perfect for dancing.

The Reasons, formed in 1980 in Scarborough, Ontario by brothers Peter and Mike Rea, hence the name “The REAsons,” toured nationwide for years until Mike’s passing in 2016.

Now located in Prince Edward County, this band continues to rock out and entertain enthusiastic dance crowds. 

The band has been recognized with numerous awards and commendations for their charitable performances at various events such as fundraisers for hospices, hospitals, nursing homes, and special life celebrations. 

This year, The Reasons proudly received Civic Recognition Awards in Picton and Peter Rea received the coveted Paul Harris Award for public service from the local Kinsmen Club.

The Concerts in the Park series takes place every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., from June 4 through to August 27.

In case of weather cancellation, rain days will be held on the following night - Thursdays @ 6:30pm. Please follow our social media and website for event updates!
